Layton Technology is pleased to announce the release of AuditWizard 8.1.2 network inventory software that includes brand new Reporting and Dashboard modules, developed based on direct user feedback. This latest update is a continued commitment to the ongoing development of our leading network inventory software, AuditWizard and delivers significant enhancements to the reporting and dashboard functionality.

The new functionality now includes drillable graphs and charts, with reports that can be scheduled to be automatically emailed to you as well as new smart filters for even quicker sorting and grouping of data.

New feature highlight - Compliance Made Easy
The compliance wizard is a powerful new feature that enables you to create baseline reports quickly and easily. Whether you want to establish if all your PCs are Windows 7 compliant or create a report that shows which assets match your Standard Operating Environment (SOE), the compliance wizard can do it all.

How it works
Select the hardware and software specification to match against, then select a condition (filter) and run the report, AuditWizard will then do all the complicated stuff for you, producing an impressive graph that shows which PCs are either compliant or not compliant based on your criteria.

By default we include a Windows 7, 32 BIT Compliance report but you can very easily create any number of compliances reports to suits your needs. If you need to know if Microsoft office software is installed but missing a service pack, not a problem, just add Microsoft Office, select installed and then add the Service Pack but set the filter as not installed and run the report. AuditWizard will show you all PCs that have Microsoft Office installed but missing Service Pack 2 for example, it’s that easy!

The new AuditWizard reporting capabilities are very flexible so you will never be without that important management report again.

The all new dashboard update now incorporates drillable statistics and four new dashboard modules including an interchangeable chart, server hard disk space monitoring and a new task/calendar facility.

New feature highlight - Live and up to date
The new live application news feed gives you up to date information as it happens in AuditWizard, whether it’s a new asset discovered and added to your database, whether you’ve used all your software licenses or even if the toner on your network printer is running low, all the information is fed directly to the live application news feed on your dashboard.  You can adjust the levels of the application news feed by selecting the properties icon on the news feed window.

AuditWizard 8.1.2 network inventory software is free upgrade to all customers under support and will be available to download from the customer support area from 21st January EST time.
