DeviceShield Requirements

DeviceShield Management Console:

The system requirements are dependent on the number of PCs to be managed. The configuration defined below is not therefore the absolute minimum if less than 100 PCs are managed.

• OS: Windows 2000, XP, 2003, 2008, Win 7
• 1GHz CPU or greater
• 512 MB RAM or higher
• 75 MB for program installation
• 150 MB hard drive space for system database
• MSDE, SQL Server Express, SQL Server 2000 or higher

PCs with the DeviceShield Client installed:

Virtually any PC can be managed provided the operating system is one of the following:

• Windows XP
• Windows 2000
• Windows 2003
• Windows Server 2003, 2008

Deployment is simple and managed from a central easy to use Interface. You can create multiple download policies for every level in your organization: Company wide, Domain wide, Groups and individual users.
