Encrypt Your Data - don't lose it

Utilizing secure AES128 or 256 bit encryption, DeviceShield enables administrators to enforce encryption of data copied from the network. Encryption adds a second level of protection to your network for added security and peace of mind.

DeviceShield can be set to allow staff to download company data onto any portable device in an encrypted form. The employee must then have a personal password or a specific password for that file in order to open it.

You can also be selective on what must be encrypted, for example, non-sensitive files types such as jpegs and mpegs can be excluded from encryption and no additional software is required to unlock the file.

In fact, you can create multiple download policies for every level in your organization: Company wide, Domain wide, Groups and individual users.

If the information on the portable memory device is encrypted and accessible only by password, you can stop worrying and allow your staff to keep downloading data if they need to. Especially if you have a permanent record of who has downloaded what.
