HelpBox Requirements

HelpBox is a 100% Web based application running under Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) version 4 or later. As such the minimum PC configuration is constrained by the requirements of IIS rather than by HelpBox.

IIS Server

• HelpBox requires a Microsoft IIS server running version 5 or 6. IIS 7 support coming soon in HelpBox version 6.
• SQL Server version (Not Standard) requires Microsoft SQL Server 2005, 2005 Express, 2000 or MSDE, these are the only version of SQL currently supported by HelpBox.
• 50-75 MB for the program installation but allow at least 500 MB for database growth and folder structure growth (i.e., attachments, exports, etc.)
• CPU - P-IV, 1.0Ghz
• 512 MB RAM
• IIS-SMTP services installed for email delivery
